Hayes TT

Afternoon all last night at Hayes was a very enjoyable evening there was some good table tennis being played. Master gee played great he had a slow start but when he played me i could not match him, then after that he was unstoppable i only played him once didn't wanna get beaten again by him.

Ashley was having a good drilling session with Trevor, ash has got such a good Backhand technique who needs to put it in his game if he did that there would be a big difference and he would recognize how difficult it would be to play him.

Kwaku had a good warm up session too, practising his Loops forehand and Backhand, much improvement when he puts the energy in his looping, again he needs to incorporate those shots more in his game then he would be a complete player sometimes i think he lacks concentrations especially if he gets net play or edges from people he tends to crumble and i always tell him its a big part of the game and the best way to learn is to learn how to return those type of shots, i love it when people hit the top of the net it shows how quick your reaction time is and how quick you adjust yourself to return the ball as low over the net as possible.

There was a new kid that came with Ashley called Gyles, what can i say when he first arrived i noticed his bat  wasn't of any standard but he looked willing .

Well Well i had a little Drilling session with him and could see a little some thing some thing with his game, i then handed him over to ash to drill with him cause i had a few matches to play.

Darren then took over drilling with Gyles, darren is the club captain, it then became a coaching session for gyles who seemed to really take it serious and listen to what he was being told, i watched him during the night and WOW is the word and i am being deadly serious he looked GOOD his only about 15 but those are the age groups we want to get involved in the Great sport.

As for me i had a good time won a few lost a few thats table tennis the most important thing is that you have Fun you can be competitive but you must enjoy yourself.

Gyles needs more table time then he will be a very good player probably be beating some of the good TT players at AG-TT club in forest hill, i will make sure Ashley gets him a new blade and rubbers so he can feel what real spin is like.

This friday Mr play wont be able to attend so it might make it easier for some players to win games Lol, Camz hopefully you will have your new blade for friday its gonna take you some time to get used to it you will now find out what real spin is all about you will be facing it and should be able to give it with this exclusive bat your getting its for specialist players with a defensive style of game the blade is slightly bigger than the average blade.

Remember the bat we use can be a big percentage to our game so i will always advice anyone who is looking to play the game to a decent standard to seek advice on which blade and rubbers would suit there game, Orrin, Master Gee and myself have good knowledge of the game and can give expert advice on which rubbers and blade to get you started, and to understand how to read spin and control it.
